Connecting communities through transit, soccer, and leadership training.

StationSoccer is a program run by Atlanta not-for-profit, Soccer in the Streets. The organization was established in 1989 and provides free soccer programs for underserved youth in the metro Atlanta area.  In 2016 StationSoccer was launched on the plaza level at Five Points Station resulting in the first soccer field project inside a train station in the world. After the success of Five Points - StationSoccer, the program was expanded to include West End Station in 2018. Further StationSoccer projects will be announced over the next year as part of “The League of Stations”. Communities will represent their stations and play each other via the MARTA transit network. Partners in the project include The Atlanta United Foundation, MARTA and The City of Atlanta.

FREE YOUTH PROGRAMS - Due to COVID-19 we have suspended our youth pick up play at all locations until further notice

Kensington:
The is the first of three locations in DeKalb County.  East Lake and Doraville are the other two locations for StationSoccer in DeKalb County.  East Lake will be the next StationSoccer to come online.  There is a community garden.  Among the many supporters of the overall program, DeKalb County and Decide DeKalb provided funding and other needed government actions to support the opening of the soccer field.

Five Points:
The youth and adult play has been suspended till Spring/Summer of 2021. We are in the process of updating the schedules for this location!

West End:
This location is our second StationSoccer location! This one is unique as it was our first location to have two fields side by side as well with the MARTA train tracks running in between them. A new learning center will also be placed at this location in the near future!  We are currently running youth organized programs at this location along with weekly adult league games. There is also a community garden at West End.

East Point:
This location was established in 2019 in the East Point community adjacent to the MARTA Station. Alongside the pitch is a special partner OZ Pizza and the City of East Point. We have been working with youth players in this community weekly and on weekends.

Lindbergh:
This location was established in 2020 and is our newest location! We worked hard through the pandemic to get this field up and running. We have been hosting adult pick-up games and adult leagues at this location for the past months and look forward to holding a community engagement opening event when the CDC allows larger group gatherings!

Stay tuned for further information on all fields! If you have any questions about the specific locations feel free to contact; info@soccerstreets.org
